Beth and Chris's Perfect Wedding at Buckberry Lodge - Jaclyn Paige Photography

It's no suprise that a wedding at Buckberry Lodge would be so spectacular.  The location, tucked away in the mountains, is perfect, especially in the fall, and teh staff really can put together an event.  We were there at the peak of the autumn colors, and the flowers and dresses that Beth had selected accented the natural beauty of the Smokies beautifuly.  We met the bride and groom in the mountains and quickly figured out that they are well-loved.  Friends and family had come from all over to celebrate with them.

After a sunset ceremony, everyone moved inside for food, live music, and dancing.  As you can see, everyone got on the floor for at least one song! --Jaclyn

The Potter Family Portraits - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Jaclyn and I spent an afternoon with the Potters at West Hills Park in Knoxville. We had a fantasitic time getting to know three generations of this wonderful family, We had to keep them away from the playground until the very end because we weren't sure if we would be able to get one (or more) of them away from it once they started playing. --Joshua

Dreaming of Warmer Weather

This was a shoot I did before the leaves came off the trees and the cold weather set in.  These girls are always so photogenic and they are so fun too be around; I thought sharing their beautiful smiles might help cheer up some people during this particularly cold and wet week. --Jaclyn

Janet & Aaron - Wedding at Johnson University - Jaclyn Paige Photography

On Saturday Joshua and I shot our first wedding of the new year, and it was a real treat to spend the day with such nice people.  They were married at the chapel at Johnson University where they met years before.  Their extended family was there with lots of adorable kids of all ages.  They kept everyone on their toes during the pictures and reception, but all eyes were on Janet and Aaron during the ceremony.

Over the next couple weeks, check the blog and Facebook often, as I'll be posting a lot of what we shot during the busy holiday season.   --Jaclyn
