Krystina & Chad - Crowne Plaza Reception - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Chad and Krystina are the kind of couple who are just excited to be together, and it shows! From their First Sight moment before the ceremony and the fun they had during their portraits, to the giggles they shared as they exchanged vows (Krystina was very eager to say "I do"!) and the romantic first dance they shared at the reception, love was in the air and the happy couple smiled from ear to ear all day. They wed at Graveston Baptist Church in Corryton, Tennessee and then danced the night away with a crowd of family and friends at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Knoxville. Congratulations, you two! --Jaclyn

Michelle & Jesse's Lookout Mountain Wedding - Loose Cannon Chattanooga - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Friday night we had the pleasure of shooting a wedding with some long-time family friends.  It was such a treat to share such a special day with a family I have known for so long.  Michelle and Jesse were married on Lookout Mountain past Rock City at the Lookout Mountain United Methodist Church.  It was a beautiful ceremony that demonstrated Michelle and Jesse's unique tastes.  From the music, to the flowers, to the guys' suspenders and Michelle's head piece that had been worn by her mother at her own wedding in 1969, the day was completely personalized.

After the ceremony, everyone headed down the mountain to Loose Cannon Party and Events Center.  The food was wonderful, and everyone (including a few unexpected people) danced and danced and danced until the very last second before the happy bride and groom left.  Congratulations, M&J!  We were happy to be with you for your big day. --Joshua

Hannah & Justin - Pinterest Wedding - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Hannah and Justin's wedding last Saturday came just after severe weather the night before, which threatened to keep them all trapped in the basement instead of decorating the reception hall!  Thankfully the sun was shining and the pews were packed at Blue Springs Church of God in Strawberry Plains-- I think this is the first wedding we've shot with standing room only!  Every last amazing decorative detail was in place for the big day in spite of the weather.  With the help of Pinterest, Hannah and her mom (I don't think Justin was involved in sewing anything, but I may be mistaken!) created a beautiful vintage setting using soft calico fabric and burlap, combined with vintage silver goblets and antique items scattered throughout the hall, all splashed with very modern and peppy pink.  Who says a church's function hall can't be gorgeous?  Or sweet?  Thankfully, everyone at this wedding agreed that the cotton candy made fresh right there, the candy table (complete, of course, with an old kitchen scale--love it!) and pink lemonade were all welcome treats.  The beautiful rose and pearl cake by Traci Lay pulled together the vintage and the sweet, and did I mention the white feathers in the bouquets?  Such a cool addition.  Even though of all the details were a photographer's dream,  it's always the people that make a wedding special.  And based on every interaction Joshua and I had throughout the day with Hannah, Justin, and their friends and family, this was a very special wedding indeed.  --Jaclyn
