Amanda & Matt - Dara's Garden Wedding - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Amanda and Matt's wedding last weekend at Dara's Garden marks the beginning of the 2013 wedding season for Jaclyn Paige Photography!  Thankfully the rain held off for the day, allowing for a beautiful outdoor ceremony.  The flowers from Always in Bloom were so pretty and fragrant and gave lovely splashes of color to the ceremony and reception.  Aside from checking out all the well-planned details, another part of my job that I love is to get to know people and observe and capture how couples relate to one another.  Amanda is spunky and sweet while Matt is calm and kind: a winning combination, don't you think?  Here are some of our favorites from the day. --Jaclyn

                                                   

                                                 

                                       

Las Vegas Here We Come!

Today we're flying to Las Vegas to join thousands of other wedding photographers at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Conference.  It'll be a great week of sharpening our skills and being inspired for the upcoming wedding season.  We can't wait to get there!

Unfortunately, a long day of traveling currently stands in our way.

Mariannina & Phil - Wedding at Dara's Garden - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Mariannina and Phil's beautiful wedding at Dara's Garden was the perfect way for us to cap off the wedding season. From the vows and bride's pearls to the table decorations and wedding pies, the new Mr. and Mrs. Montag made sure their wedding day was a unique and personal celebration of their new life together. Flowers from Lisa Foster added splashes of vibrant fall color to the reception tent, and delicious autumn-y aromas filled the room as Rothchild's Catering served a buffet featuring (among other items) butternut squash soup and a sweet potato bar. Thanks to Jim Ogle of Ogle Entertainment, the dance floor was full and alive all evening long and provided no shortage of photo ops! Phil and Mariannina both clearly love to boogie, and it was so much fun to capture their celebratory moves amidst a sea of equally-enthusiastic friends and family. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Montag! --Jaclyn
