Kelsey & John - Wedding at the Lodge at Buckberry Creek - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Kelsey and John had their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Buckberry Creek Lodge, where Joshua and I have worked several weddings now.  What an amazing place!  Even with the rain and fog, the mountain backdrop and the rustic setting made for a lovely wedding day.  There's a first time for everything, and this wedding had at least two firsts for us: a cat in the bride's dressing room, and the mention of sushi during the vows, both of which are testaments to Kelsey's bubbly personality and how well suited Kelsey and John are for each other.  With the exception of her sister, all of Kelseys bridesmaids work with her at Belleza Salon in Turkey Creek.  Needless to say, their hair and make-up looked incredible (along with Kelsey's mom's, thanks to Kelsey's handiwork)!  After the ceremony the celebration with family and friends ensued, with music provided by DJ Stan. Imagine owls on the wedding cake, burlap around the table vases, chocolate-covered strawberries, singularly-placed over-sized white balloons, amazing pink and green flowers: all details that came together to make the day special and one-of-a-kind. Molly & John Andrew - Dara's Garden Wedding - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Molly and John Andrew's sweet wedding was held at beautiful Dara's Garden, where they and their friends and family gathered to celebrate the joining of their lives.  Shanna from Ruffles and Rouge made Molly look even more beautiful than usual.  White and bright orange flowers from Lisa Foster added contrasting splashes of color to the bridesmaids green dresses, the groomsmens' lapels, and every reception table.  Molly and John Andrew's spunky color choices definitely matched their personalities!  After the couple's loving first dance and Molly's memorable dance with her father, DJ Stan kept the dance floor full until the new husband and wife dashed away amidst a sea of congratulatory bubbles.  Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Hartness! --Jaclyn

 

Jaclyn & Greg - Hunter Valley Farm Wedding - Jaclyn Paige Photography

It has been said that great marriages begin with great friendships.  If this is true, Jaclyn and Greg are likely to enjoy a terrific life together.  During the ceremony at Erin Presbyterian Church, Rev. Stuart's comments about Jaclyn and Greg pointed out how well they love each other.  Later, in the midst of a gorgeous reception at Hunter Valley Farm, the Maid of Honor and Best Man toasted to the couple's early beginnings in middle school and high school.  Clearly after knowing each other so long, Greg and Jaclyn are off to a good start!  Jaclyn looked amazing in her sophisticated dress from Wedding Wonderland, and the entire day was made all the more beautiful with florals from Lisa Foster.  With intricate cakes from Magpies Bakery and crowd-pleasing tunes from Stan "Duh" Man at M&M Entertainment, the guests and couple alike enjoyed a party that won't soon be forgotten.  It's always, always an honor to be able to capture a couple's wedding day and be a part of their celebrations.  Thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Slack! --Jaclyn (Johnston)  :)
