Evan & Alisha - Chattanooga Wedding at Patten Chapel - Jaclyn Paige Photography
We first met Alisha and Evan about a year and a half ago for their engagement session. It didn't take long to realize what a great couple they are, so we were very excited when they asked us to cover their wedding in Chattanooga. Individually both Evan and Alisha are sweet, kind, happy people, so together they make one of the neatest couples we've had the pleasure of working with. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Patten Chapel at UT's Chattanooga campus. From there, thanks to the crowds at the Riverbend Festival blocking the roads, they and all the guests (plus us and their awesome videographers from TruePix in Nashville) boarded a boat-- the Southern Bell-- for a ride up the river to their elegant reception at Pier 2. Humphrey's Flowers provided some of the most vibrant, fresh, sweet-smelling bouquets and decorations I have ever seen (I have to admit, anytime I held Alisha's bouquet of white peonies for her, my nose was in them!) and they graced the aisle at the chapel as well as the tables at the reception in perfect style. It was a perfect day for a wonderful couple and Joshua and I felt honored to be a part of it all! --Jaclyn

Evan & Alisha - Engagement Session on UT Campus - Jaclyn Paige Photography
I had the lucky opportunity to shoot Evan and Alisha's engagement session a few weeks ago at the UT campus. They watched the weather carefully and actually chose to spread out their session over two days: one with summery weather, and another with autumn temperatures. The two of them were so much fun to work with! They were naturals in front of the camera and had tons of great ideas for different backgrounds and locations. Just look at how affectionate and sweet they are! I had only driven through campus on the same three roads before this shoot, so as we walked around, my eyes were opened to countless "photo ops" for future sessions! I am so excited! Thanks, Evan and Alisha, for making my job so enjoyable! --Jaclyn
