Hunter's First Birthday

Hear ye!  Hear Ye!  Prince Hunter is one!  For his first birthday, this lucky little boy's proud parents threw him a royal party at The Little Gym.  We've had the pleasure of seeing lots of this great family in the past couple months, first with a Christmas family session and then with Hunter's amazing party!  Lots of family and friends were in attendance and watched while the kids played in the colorful gym, and then together they enjoyed a meal prepared by Rosa's Catering, followed by incredible cake.  Happy Birthday, Hunter!  --Jaclyn

Caelan is definitely growing!  It was exciting to see how much he had changed between his newborn session and the three-month point.  He is starting to smile and hold his head up, and his sweet little personality is beginning to emerge.  Not to mention Tabitha and Geoff seem to be adapting well to parenthood.  I can't wait for the six-month session in November!  (Oh, and take note of the basket- already he's getting big for it- it's the same basket we used for the newborn portraits.  Will he even fit by the time he's a year old?)  --Jaclyn

Joshua and I first worked with Tabitha and Geoff when we shot their engagement session early last spring.  What a fun and happy couple!  Then, we did Tabitha's bridal session where we previewed her amazing dress and spent the afternoon capturing her gorgeous-ness (if that's not a word it should be!)  In June we spent Tabitha and Geoff's wedding day recording all the intimate moments and details from the morning preparations to the moonlit getaway.  We were a little sad when the day was over since we had come to consider them friends and not just clients.  Luckily we could relive the day while I created their album.  Now, Tabitha and Geoff are parents!  Tabitha called me for newborn pictures of their precious new son Caelan, and we packed up our studio gear for an in-home session.  What an adorable little guy.  Here are some favorites from the day. --Jaclyn

I want to share yet another baby friend of mine- Little Lucy.  Here, she is less than 24 hours old.  It is truly a privilege to be invited to help welcome a new life into this world by photographing her.  I am thrilled to have had the chance to visit her (and her parents!) in the hospital and hold such a tiny, fresh, new person.  Welcome to the world, Lucy! --Jaclyn

As a photographer, I have the joy of capturing people at all stages of life.  Generally I photograph people at the "getting married" stage, which I love!  Once in a while I photograph people in their first days and months of life.  At this stage they are sharing their first smiles instead of first dances, coos and squeaks instead of wedding toasts.  Here are just a couple shots of Nathan, who is already so much bigger and has had so many other firsts since this day! --Jaclyn
