I want to share yet another baby friend of mine- Little Lucy.  Here, she is less than 24 hours old.  It is truly a privilege to be invited to help welcome a new life into this world by photographing her.  I am thrilled to have had the chance to visit her (and her parents!) in the hospital and hold such a tiny, fresh, new person.  Welcome to the world, Lucy! --Jaclyn

As a photographer, I have the joy of capturing people at all stages of life.  Generally I photograph people at the "getting married" stage, which I love!  Once in a while I photograph people in their first days and months of life.  At this stage they are sharing their first smiles instead of first dances, coos and squeaks instead of wedding toasts.  Here are just a couple shots of Nathan, who is already so much bigger and has had so many other firsts since this day! --Jaclyn

Davina & Darrell - Wedding at Beaver Dam Baptist Church - Reception at Beaver Brook Country Club - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Jaclyn and I had been looking forward to Davina and Darrell's wedding since we did their engagement session in July.  They tied the knot at the Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Halls last Saturday. The vibraint colors of the bridesmaids' dresses and the flawless Lisa Foster flowers were just some of the many beautiful details of the day. The church's pristine sanctuary and garden-like property made it the ideal setting for a wedding.

Jaclyn and I had a good time working with Kay and Steven from Kay's Wedding and Event Videography documenting every detail. We spent quite a bit of time with the bridal party as they prepared for the ceremony, and it was nice to see people who care so much about each other having such a good time laughing and joking as they celebrated their friends' big day. Before the wedding the guys made sure to catch a few minutes of the UT game on their iPhones, and after the ceremony everyone partied at the Beaver Brook Country Club. The club offers a breathtaking view of the golf course, and it was a pefect place to eat and dance before they headed off on their honeymoon.--Joshua

Tabitha and Geoff's Album

September has been a quiet month for weddings, but it's been very busy with album design!  I'm thankful to have this time to focus on albums.  Tabitha and Geoff's is the most recent one I have sent to print, and I thought it would be neat to share some of their layouts here.  It's always so nice to re-live a couple's wedding day by working with their images to create their albums.  I feel privileged to play the leading role in assembling what will become a treasured keepsake for years to come!  Shanna from Ruffles and Rouge made Tabitha look breathtaking, and Lisa Spegman of Knox Planning helped to pull the day together, and I pulled together the memories of that day!
