Nathalie - Children's Portraits - Jaclyn Paige Photography

On a chilly day like today, it's so fun to be working on this portrait session with Nathalie, who is a warm ray of sunshine to everyone she meets!  Nathalie is a bright, inquisitive little lady and a joy to photograph.  She had a lot of fun during our session: hiding behind trees, balancing on rocks, making silly faces, and singing a new version of "I'm a Little Teapot" that ends with the line, "Oh wait-- I'm a sugarbowl."  How cute can you get, really?  I always look forward to kids' portrait sessions because entering into their worlds makes me feel like a kid again myself!

Lori & Chris's UT Wedding - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Last week as the Vols took the field, Lori and Chris began their marriage.  With a theme that any Tennessee fan would love, they were married at All Saints Catholic Church and celebrated in a ballroom at the Holiday Inn.  More than a few hotel guests poked their heads into the reception after returning from Neyland Stadium to rave about the bridesmaids dresses and orange decor.  John from Pro Audio once again provided a custom-tailored play list to fit the bride and groom's taste.  Check out some additional photos at our Facebook page.

I'm sure Lori and Chris are watching today as the Volunteers face off against the Crimson Tide.  Go Vols! --Joshua

Dara & David -Wedding at Gettysvue Country Club - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Dara and David were wed at Gettysvue Polo, Golf, and Country Club in a beautiful private ceremony, followed by an equally lovely reception.  Dara's mom did lots of the planning from California-- no small feat for an event so special!  And thanks to a gorgeous sunset, we were able to create some portraits of the bride and groom together that will forever reflect how wonderful the whole day was! --Jaclyn

Tammy & Justin - Wedding at Magnolia Manor - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Tammy and Justin were married this weekend at the beautiful and historic Magnolia Manor.  This wedding was incredibly personal.  Justin and Tammy are avid cyclists, and they infused their passion into the sign welcoming people to the venue, their cakes, and even their get away.  As Justin's brother-in-law said during the ceremony, a couple who can love each other in spandex is truly meant for each other.

Social Graces Flowers were tucked in nooks and crannies all around the grounds.  I felt like the beautiful flowers were a reward for exploring new places around the stunning property.  The cake was styled after a mountain Tammy and Justin have ridden in France.  The amazing cakes and yummy food were provided by Rosa's Catering.

Tammy is a teacher and sponsor of the Bearden High School dance team, and her team was there in full force.  A string quartet, also consisting of Bearden High students, provided music for the ceremony and reception, including classical music and current pop music that got the dance team moving.

We've posted a few additional images on our Facebook page.  Thanks for letting us be a part of your day, Tammy and Justin!  --Joshua.
