Meet Elaine - Graduation Portraits - Jaclyn Paige Photography
When Elaine called me for a portrait session to commemorate her graduation from nursing school, I didn't realize what an accomplishment she was actually celebrating. After a serious car accident left her bed-ridden for four months, subject to over a dozen reconstructive surgeries, and in rehab for several subsequent months, Elaine was able to pick up her studies once again and complete her nursing program. These portraits do not just symbolize Elaine's graduation, but on a larger scale they prove her faith, tenacity and strength. Needless to say, then, it was an honor to work with her and create these images. --Jaclyn
Happy Anniversary, David & Jessica! - Jaclyn Paige Photography
David and Jessica celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary at the end of May and decided to commemorate the occasion with a Beloved portrait session. We spent the morning at World's Fair Park and I had a great time documenting their 'date!' Here are just a few of our favorites:

Happy Graduation, Daniel! Senior Portraits - Jaclyn Paige Photography
This very evening, our nephew Daniel is graduating from high school in Rochester, New York. Because of scheduling we've already been there and back to celebrate the occasion, and now the occasion is actually happening! Joshua and I are super excited to see what's next for Dan, and both of us are confident that whatever it is, he'll do awesome! When he visited us here in Knoxville a few months ago, we spend an afternoon creating some senior portraits to show off his personality and style. Check out some favorites below. Congratulations, Daniel! --Joshua and Jaclyn

Sara Beth & Tim - An Outdoor Wedding - Jaclyn Paige Photography
Sara Beth and Tim's wedding was the kind of celebration that
leaves a person feeling optimistic about love, marriage, and faith. Surrounded by lots of family and friends,
they had their ceremony and reception in their pastor's backyard in Louisville. It was such a sunshine-y, happy, fun day and
Joshua and I were truly blessed to be a part of it. Sara Beth and Tim decided to do their First Look
with their wedding party and parents in attendance, which was a sweet
alternative to a more private meeting like some couples choose. Either way, as I always say, the First Look
is such a good idea as it allows a couple to have more quality time together on
their wedding day, and it gives us time to create lots of group shots before
the ceremony. Tim and several of his
groomsmen are firefighters, so we had some fun using their helmets for props in
the guys' shots. Sara Beth and her
bridesmaids all wore boots with their dresses, which is ever-so-country-chic. After the ceremony these two lovebirds joined
their guests to celebrate with food, music, and all those fun reception
traditions like toasts and cake cutting.
All in all it was a memorable and beautiful day! Head on over to Jaclyn Paige Photography's Facebook page to Like us and then tag these pictures! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Sandman!
