Sometimes one of the great things about being wedding photographers in Knoxville is getting to experience the best the city has to offer. Saturday’s wedding was one of those times. After being married at West End Church of Christ, Eliza, Jacob, and all their guests boarded the Star of Knoxville for a riverboat cruise down the Tennessee River. We passed under the bridges at Gay and Henley Street and past Volunteer Landing, Neyland Stadium, and Sequoia Hills Park. Guests dined inside the cabin and in the cool river breeze on the open air deck. After she and Jacob cut the cake and everyone had finished desert, Eliza and her bridesmaids made sure the dance floor stayed full until the boat returned to the dock hours after it departed. The happy bride and groom dashed to their car and sped away to start their new life together just as the sun ducked below the horizon. --Joshua
