Though the rain threatened on and off Saturday, Sarah and Cody's wedding turned out to be a perfect commemoration of their new marriage. The picturesque surroundings of the Museum of Appalachia, the always beautiful flowers from Lisa Foster, Sarah's elegant gown from White Lace and Promises, and delicious cake from Magpies all contributed to a lovely day, but the best part was seeing two fun-loving families come together to celebrate. The warmth and love of those in attendance was incredible, and many of the attendees were more than happy to join in the party on the dance floor. Patrick Michael Weddings kept people on the dance floor until the sun was well beyond the horizon. Luckily, in spite of the weather, we captured some great photographs for them to remember their special day with, and Kay's Wedding and Event Videography recorded the day on video forever.
As a unique part of their ceremony, Sarah and Cody enacted Ecclesiastes 4:12 by braiding together a three-strand cord. Two of the strands represented Sarah and Cody, and the third represented the role God will play in their relationship. "A cord of three strands is not easily broken." --Joshua
