Eric & Chesea - Engagement Session at Bicentennial Park - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Eric and Chelsea hired us to shoot their engagement session at Bicentennial Park in Maryville, and then downtown Maryville as well.  We had lots of fun trying out some shots at a new location for us.  In a couple days, we're getting together to talk about their wedding day next June!  Engagement sessions are always a great way for a couple to get to know their photographer, and vice versa.  During this particular session, I learned that Chelsea is a natural beauty and will make a lovely bride, and Eric has some great ideas for shooting locations- two more reasons for me to be excited about their wedding day!  They learned that sometimes you have to throw a lot of leaves in the air before the picture looks the way you want it to!--Jaclyn

Katie & Joe - Holston Hills Wedding - Jaclyn Paige Photography

Well, Katie and Joe's wedding was a blast.  Joshua posted these pictures to make sure some highlights of the day were up for friends and family to see, and he also is responsible for the "dance party" title.  Now here I sit, shamefully late in writing some of my thoughts about Mr. and Mrs. Davidson's day, and I arrive at the blog with "wedding and dance party" to guide my thoughts.  I have to laugh!  This wedding was in mid-October, and they had the most beautiful weather for a wedding- warm, dry air with a slight breeze, bathed in sunshine and dappled with clouds here and there.  Perfect!  Holston Hills Country Club offered a classic setting for an outdoor ceremony, and Jim Ogle from Ogle Entertainment created the ambiance at the reception: from the easy-going tunes during dinner to providing Hank Williams for some fraternity "Traditions."  You can see from the pictures here that the guests had a memorable time. Even Katie's grandmother had to bust a few moves!   I'm a little sad that Katie and Joe are done with their wedding now, after spending time with them for their engagement session, Katie's bridal session, and their all-day wedding celebration.  I have really enjoyed working with them.  Just let me know when you need me to take baby pictures, you two!  Ha ha!  --Jaclyn

Kimberly & William's 10-10-10 Wedding - Cabin Wedding in the Smokies - Jaclyn Paige Photography

I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Kimberly and William until their wedding day, but based on Kimberly's emails, I was confident that they would be great to work with- and I was right! These sweethearts are so good together, loving life and the people dear to them. A mountain cabin served as a lovely setting for their intimate ceremony and reception with 26 close family and friends. They decorated the place with a beautiful fall theme- with loads of flowers and leaves in autumn colors, warm-scented candles, gold ribbons and family photos throughout. The meal was provided by a personal chef-- Chef Ray from Fruitful Vintage, and the aromas from the kitchen created a wedding day atmosphere like no other- Joshua and I both commented that the whole day felt like "home." What a wonderful way for Kimberly and William to begin their married life! --Jaclyn
