I called dibbs on writing about this wedding because I wanted to say how much I loved Dustin's hat. For those of you who don't know, it's called a "fedora," and early in the 20th century, men wouldn't step outside without one. The hats were the definition of smooth. Look at a classic black and white film, and all the cool cats are sporting one. I was excited to see Dustin paying tribute to such integral part of fashion history. While Jaclyn captured this first image, I was reminded of James Cagney. (Check out The Fedora Lounge for some pictures of the gangster movie icon.)
Katie held her own in the cool department with some killer electric blue heels, and we had a lot of fun goofing off with her and her bridesmaids outside the West End Church of Christ. It was a beautiful day for a wedding, and the cermony and reception were lovely. The banquet room was decorated perfectly, and flowers were everywhere. The calla lily in the bouquets were especially beautiful. We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed capturing them.--Joshua
